To my Lady Girl,Words cannot even describe the type of dog you were. I dont even like using the word dog because you werent. You were family. I remember the day I found you. You were on my street just a couple houses down smelling a bush probably looking for a squirrel. My friends and I chased after you for the whole entire block until one of us caught you. For some reason, none of us were afraid to approach you. Its like a part of me knew you were friendly and looking for a home. I put you in the backyard and got my mom who was so confused why a random dog was in the yard. My dad always said no dogs look how that turned out. Some people say its just a dog you can get over it or youre being dramatic. But lady was special. She was by far the best dog ever and Im not being biased. You can ask anyone who known lady that this is true. Although she was old and in pain she still got up when mom called her to let her outside, she still got up every morning barking at mom to take her for a walk, she still got up to greet each and every person who came through the front door, she still got up when mom yelled who wants a treat, she still got up when there was no more spots left on the couch so a person can sit down. The one thing about dogs is that they love you unconditionally and Lady did just that. All lady wanted was her daily walk hunting for squirrels, french fries, and a comfy spot on the couch to sleep. Till this day I do believe God brought me to you and I thank him each and everyday. The best 11 years with you have the best part of my life. Im so happy you passed away peacefully at home on the couch with family surrounding you. Knowing that you were so loved and that you are going to be okay. Its going to be weird without you here everyday. Just your presence in a room gave me so much comfort. After a hard and long day when I felt alone, I would always turn to you. Even though you couldnt understand a single word I said you knew I was upset and made sure I was okay. Ill miss you so much and I cant wait for you to run to me when I see you in heaven.
