Nyla Kierra Kennedy was born in Sugar Creek Ohio on Sunday August 31, 2009. She departed life on Saturday August 30, 2025.

Nyla came into my life at just 12 weeks old. She was delivered to my front door in Newark NJ. I was still living at home at my mom’s house at the time and Nyla quickly filled our home with love and loyalty.

I can remember being on the website, www.puppies234.com looking for a dog and selecting her out of her litter mates. Something about her photos spoke to my heart and spirit. Best decision I’ve ever made in life this far.

Nyla was more to me than a pet or even a dog. She was my support, my best friend, and my family. She enjoyed attention and would get overly excited to see anyone. She also learned on her own how to detect if I was sick or hurt. She wouldn’t leave my side.

Nyla was educated at home by family. She quickly learned how obey commands. She enjoyed family time. Especially when her late cousin, Rover, would come to visit.

Nyla accepted the Lord as her personal Savior while living in Newark, NJ. She was a praiser indeed. She loved to listen to shouting music and was no stranger to giving God her best praise. If that meant running around, barking, howling, she didn’t mind.

Nyla lived a full 15 years, passing just one day before her 16th Birthday.

She has given birth to 3 separate litters, a total of 9 puppies.

She is proceeded in death by her loving doggie parents and a sister(OH); her son Braxton; her babygirl Grace; cousin, Rover(VA).

Nyla leave to cherish her memories, a loving Father, Ramael(PA); devoted Grandmother, Norma Jean(NJ); 7 children, one special daughter Beulah; Aunt, Dawanna(VA); Uncle, Naseem(NJ); Cousin, Bishop(VA) Godparent, Khayri(PA); and a host of other relatives and friends.
