Min was our first family pet. He was a gift to our son who was only a few months old at the time from his mom-mom. Min was so little that he had to be bottle fed. We were told that he was a female a few days after getting him and named him Minnie. We then took him to the vet and found out that he was a male. We still would refer to him as Minnie from time to time. At some point, we decided that he should have a big name and settled on Min Minister Mickey Mouse Kirby. Min was a fun cat. He loved running around chasing laser lights or reflections from the sun. He loved running his paws through Aly’s hair. Min loved attention and even demanded it. If he wanted you to pet him and you were on your phone, he would try to knock it out of your hand. He would also hit things off of the table to get your attention. Jack had a special bond with him. Jack thought of Min as family and not just as a pet. I think they truly loved each other. As Min’s time with us was coming to an end, Jack was petting him reassuring him that is was okay to go to sleep for good.
