Peanut was a feral cat at my work place.ive been taking care of her for over 7 years.she was very special to me.over time she began to trust me to the point were I could pet her. She wouldn’t let anyone else and when someone came over she would run.
Over time I could call her and she would come running. When it was dinner time she would nibble then sit and wait for me to finish feeding the rest of the crew until I came over and sat next to her then she would finish eating. As time went on she would snuggle next to me and nap for a little.
Then when the day finally came she hopped onto my lap.
For a feral to gain that trust in just one person was very special to me.
She had a little house I made for her so during bad weather she kept warm and dry.
I’m very broken hearted yet blessed I was a part of her life and she in mine.
Until I see you again over the rainbow bridge my little silly peanut.
